how much you feel,
how you move, how you love…
you are such light. such brilliant light.
you are meant to be with someone
who is shifted by you,
whose soul is here to be shaken by you,
don’t waste one more tender breath
that you have in your chest on

to break your heart.

The butterflies rising poem ‘you are such light. such brilliant light.’ is published in her poetry book ‘wild spirit, soft heart’ in the healing section on page 93. The poem was written after a breakup for anyone who is in a heartbreak place. When you feel like you’re struggling with how someone who broke your heart didn’t see your worth, one of the ways out of feeling stuck in that place is to take your focus off of them seeing it… and shift to you seeing it within yourself. Little by little it helps you start to feel things in a new way. You start seeing how you weren’t unworthy; you are actually worthy of more, and everything you feel like you lost was moved out of the way for something more beautiful to find you
