The poem is written about embracing being passionate and sensitive and allowing yourself to feel it all. This version is also published in her book ‘she’s flowers and fire.’ She also published an additional version where she changed the word ‘love’ to ‘feel’ to extend the meaning of the poem to more than just relationships.
