The butterflies rising poem ‘good intentions are like magic’ is in her poetry book ‘wild spirit, soft heart’ in the “connection” section on page 278. butterflies rising wrote this poem about how good it feels to have people in your life that you can genuinely trust and believe in and the way you can feel a knowing about that deep within. She wrote this poem after having experienced struggles with trust and betrayal, but also experiencing the beauty of trust through friendships and being grateful for having the gift of those friends who bring that energy into her life. She wrote this poem in 2015 in her first year of writing as “butterflies rising”. Then in 2022, she wrote a revised version of the poem:
