you have
imprinted on me,
leaving traces of you here,
leaving light in my pathways,
it has shifted my soul,
and this life won’t be the same…
i will not be the same
– butterflies rising
The butterflies rising poem ‘i will not be the same’ is published in her book ‘wild spirit, soft heart’ in the ‘love’ section of the book on page 194. The poem was written about the loss of a connection and how that person left traces of their energy in her life. Since she has published the poem, she has seen others connect deeply to the poem in other ways, such as the loss of loved ones from this life, and it’s made her want to be so respectful with how she shares the poem to take care of the energy people feel from it. She has also seen that others connect it about loved ones who they are still connected to, and them relating to it in the sense of gratitude for the energy that the people they love bring into their lives.
